The annual 100 km of Champions event at Valentino Rossi’s famed Ranch in Tavullia is about to turn heads as six current MotoGP riders gear up alongside the legend himself for a dirt-track spectacle that blends raw speed, camaraderie and pure fun. Organised by Valentino Rossi, this race brings together a mix of top-tier circuit racers and flat-track specialists, offering fans a rare glimpse of MotoGP stars trading asphalt for dust and sliding around the Ranch’s distinctive oval.
This year the entry list features six big-name MotoGP riders including Pedro Acosta, Jack Miller, Francesco Bagnaia, Marco Bezzecchi, Luca Marini and the returning Diogo Moreira. Their participation adds fresh energy to the event as each rider looks to showcase their versatility away from the world championship spotlight.
The format of the race is unconventional yet thrilling. Riders — paired up — tackle an endurance-style challenge around the dirt track, combining a le Mans-style sprint to their bikes, frequent rider swaps, and an intense 100-kilometre battle that tests both skill and stamina. The result is often unpredictable — last year even legendary names had to fight hard to keep up.
More than just a competition the 100 km of Champions is a celebration of racing culture. It highlights the passion, friendship and respect that bind the motorcycling community.
