Adobe Invests Ten Million Dollars in Film and TV Fund and Partners With Amelia Dimoldenberg

Adobe has announced a ten million dollar investment in its Film and TV Fund to support filmmakers and television creators around the world. The funding will include direct financial contributions as well as donated Adobe products to help emerging and mid career storytellers access the tools and resources they need to bring their projects to life.

The Film and TV Fund works with community organizations and industry partners to provide support to creators who might not otherwise have access to funding and professional development. Among the partners receiving support this year are the Group Effort Initiative founded by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, the USC Annenberg School of Communications, the NAACP, Gold House, Sundance Ignite and Rideback RISE which helps mid career artists of color advance their projects.

In a new collaboration Adobe is partnering with Dimz Inc Academy led by creator and host Amelia Dimoldenberg to expand a free summer program for aspiring storytellers. The four week workshop will provide training in creative skills such as ideation storytelling production and video editing for participants aged 18 to 24 from underrepresented backgrounds. The program builds on a successful pilot and aims to create pathways into creative careers for future film and television professionals.

The Film and TV Fund also offers fellowships and direct grants to help filmmakers bring their projects to major platforms and festivals. Several fund recipients are expected to premiere their works at the Sundance Film Festival
