Alpine Ends F1 Journey with Jack Doohan After Winless Stint

Alpine Formula One Team has officially parted ways with Jack Doohan following a challenging period in the 2025 season. The young driver, who made his debut in Formula One at the end of 2024, was promoted to a full-time race seat for 2025 but struggled to make an impact. During his six race starts, Doohan was unable to score any championship points and faced multiple retirements, including a collision in Miami.

Midway through the season, Alpine replaced Doohan with Franco Colapinto, moving him to a reserve role before ultimately ending their partnership. The decision reflects both Doohan's individual performance and Alpine's overall difficulties, as the team finished at the bottom of the Constructors Championship with just 22 points scored by Pierre Gasly.

Alpine has thanked Doohan for his dedication and professionalism throughout his time with the team, acknowledging his contributions from the academy level to the Formula One grid. With the split confirmed, Doohan is now free to explore new opportunities in motorsport, though his next destination has not yet been announced.
