Anime That Survived Production Hell and Those Still Stuck

Anime fans know that behind every great show there is often a story of struggle and perseverance. Some anime face tremendous challenges during production but manage to reach the audience despite tight deadlines, staff shortages, and creative obstacles. One Punch Man Season Three is a prime example.

Despite long delays and production difficulties, the season eventually aired and kept fans engaged. Similarly, projects like the Uzumaki adaptation have overcome multiple setbacks to make it to release. These shows prove that determination and talent can overcome nearly any obstacle in the animation industry.

On the other hand, not every project escapes the grip of production hell. The third season of The Promised Neverland has left fans waiting for years with no confirmed release. Dreaming Machine, the unfinished work of director Satoshi Kon, remains incomplete due to the director’s untimely passing and financial problems at the studio. These unfinished projects show the challenges that can stall even the most anticipated anime.
