Antonio Felix da Costa wasted no time getting back into the rhythm of racing after the holiday season by heading to a karting track with friends and fellow drivers including F1 rookie Arvid Lindblad. The informal session gave the two drivers a chance to shake off the Christmas rust and reconnect with the pure joy of racing before the competitive season kicks into full gear.
The karting outing allowed da Costa, who is preparing for the next round of Formula E, to focus on sharpness, reaction times, and wheel to wheel racing in a relaxed and fun environment. Laughter, friendly rivalry, and spirited duels marked the day as the drivers enjoyed the freedom of the track away from championship pressure. It was a perfect way to reset physically and mentally ahead of the demanding races that lie ahead this year.
For Lindblad, the kart session had special significance as he prepares to step into Formula One in 2026 with Racing Bulls. The British teenager has quickly risen through junior categories, earning a promotion to the pinnacle of motorsport alongside Liam Lawson.
Returning to karting offered a nostalgic reminder of his roots while allowing him to stay sharp in preparation for the biggest challenge of his career.
The event highlighted the camaraderie and shared passion that exists among racing drivers, regardless of the level at which they compete
