Blue Note Jazz Festival Returns to the Hollywood Bowl This June


The Blue Note Jazz Festival is set to return to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles this June bringing two days of unforgettable music and performances. The festival will take place on June 14 and 15 and promises a dynamic mix of jazz soul R&B and hip hop influences under the stars of one of the most iconic outdoor venues in the city.

Saturday will feature legendary artists such as The Isley Brothers and De La Soul along with jazz talents including Derrick Hodge Dee Dee Bridgewater Keyon Harrold Pedrito Martinez and ensembles from the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz Performance at UCLA. Sunday will showcase genre-defying icons like Grace Jones and multi-genre artist WILLOW together with Stanley Clarke N4EVER The Soul Rebels featuring guests Rapsody and Goapele and Joe Lovano’s Paramount Quartet with Julian Lage among others.

This year marks the first official Blue Note branded festival in Los Angeles following its previous iterations as the Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival and the Playboy Jazz Festival. The event highlights a partnership between the LA Philharmonic and Blue Note Entertainment Group aimed at celebrating the legacy of jazz while bringing contemporary and cross-genre artists to a wider audience.

Tickets for the festival have seen strong demand with general admission selling out quickly though hotel packages including transportation and special experiences remain available.
