Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Gets First Ever Anime Film IMAX Ratio Release

The popular anime film Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is set to be released in a special IMAX ratio for the first time ever. This new presentation will use an expanded aspect ratio of 1.43 to 1 allowing audiences to see more of the vertically framed animation. The IMAX edition will begin screenings in Japan on February 6 2026 and promises an even more immersive experience for fans.

The film has already been praised worldwide for its stunning visuals and intense action sequences. The new IMAX format highlights these features by giving viewers a larger and more dynamic image during key battle scenes. While the original release was shown in IMAX the expanded ratio is a new first for an anime film.

The special IMAX edition is currently confirmed only for Japanese theaters and there is no official announcement yet about international screenings. Fans outside Japan are eagerly awaiting news of whether this enhanced viewing experience will become available globally.
