Frankie Kazarian Opens Up About Leaving AEW and Betting on Himself

Frankie Kazarian recently spoke about his decision to leave All Elite Wrestling and take control of the next chapter in his wrestling career. After four years with AEW, he realized that simply renewing his contract without a clear role was not enough. Kazarian wanted more than just a paycheck; he wanted meaningful opportunities and the chance to showcase his talents in a way that mattered to him. He asked AEW management for his release, a request that surprised many but was ultimately granted, allowing him to pursue the path he felt was right.

Kazarian emphasized that his departure was not motivated by bitterness. He wanted to continue wrestling in a place that valued his experience and passion. He had discussions with WWE and TNA, and while talks with WWE were positive, they did not result in a contract. Instead he returned to TNA, a company he had a history with, and embraced the opportunity to compete on a platform that appreciated his contributions.

Since joining TNA, Kazarian has proven that his decision to leave AEW was the right one. He signed a multi-year deal and dedicated himself fully to his craft. In November 2025 he won the TNA World Championship for the first time, a milestone that highlighted his talent and perseverance.
