Jack Doohan Parts Ways With Alpine After F1 Demotion

Jack Doohan has officially left the Alpine Formula One team following a challenging season. The 22 year old Australian began his F1 career with Alpine after progressing through the Alpine Academy and made his debut at the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Initially given a race seat alongside Pierre Gasly in 2025, Doohan faced difficulties on track and was replaced mid season by Franco Colapinto.

After being demoted to the reserve driver role, Doohan remained with the team for the rest of the season but has now departed by mutual agreement. Alpine has confirmed that he is free to pursue other career opportunities while the team prepares for the 2026 season.

This departure marks the end of a brief but highly watched stint in Formula One for Doohan. Motorsport fans and analysts are now speculating on what the next step in his racing career will be with possibilities ranging from Super Formula to other international racing series
