Jak Crawford Eyes 2027 as His Best Opportunity to Enter Formula One

American racing talent Jak Crawford has made it clear that the 2027 Formula One season represents his most promising opportunity to secure a full time race seat. After years of dedication in junior formulas and a role as a reserve driver with the Aston Martin Formula One Team Crawford is focused on converting his hard work into a permanent spot on the grid.

The 20 year old narrowly missed a race seat for the current season after finishing as runner up in the 2025 Formula Two Championship but remains determined to stay ready for any chance that arises. He believes that continued involvement with the team throughout 2026 will allow him to gain valuable experience and remain visible to key decision makers, putting him in the strongest position for 2027.

Although Crawford will not compete in a full race program next year, he is fully engaged in testing responsibilities and simulator work that allow him to refine his skills and contribute to the team’s development efforts. His presence in the paddock at every race and active participation in team activities demonstrate his commitment and readiness to step into a competitive seat when the opportunity comes.
