Bobby Lashley Shares His View On Rising Injury Concerns In AEW

Bobby Lashley has recently opened up about the increasing number of injuries in All Elite Wrestling and shared his honest perspective on why the situation occurs. The veteran wrestling star believes that the primary reason behind the injuries is the extreme level of dedication and risk taking displayed by the wrestlers rather than any lack of professionalism or training within the company.

Lashley explained that many AEW performers are passionate about delivering memorable matches and often push their physical limits to entertain fans. He pointed out that several wrestlers consistently perform high intensity moves and dangerous stunts which significantly raise the chances of injury. According to him, the athletes are fully committed to putting on the best possible show and often sacrifice their own physical safety to achieve that goal.

He also praised the overall talent present in AEW and highlighted that many stars are known for their fearless wrestling style. Lashley mentioned that performers such as Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, and Swerve Strickland frequently take bold risks during matches. He believes this dedication creates exciting content for fans but also comes with unavoidable physical consequences.

Lashley further spoke about the company culture and how AEW wrestlers focus heavily on match quality and fan satisfaction. He suggested that the competitive environment encourages wrestlers to constantly raise the bar which can sometimes lead to performers pushing themselves beyond safe limits. He described this mentality as admirable because it reflects the passion of the roster but also acknowledged that it contributes to the rising injury count.

The wrestling star emphasized that injuries are a part of professional wrestling regardless of promotion. However, he noted that AEW matches often feature faster pacing and more high impact sequences which naturally increase physical strain on performers. Lashley believes that while these matches are thrilling to watch they require wrestlers to maintain peak physical condition and take significant risks every time they step into the ring.
