Harry Styles Shares Laughing Moment at Grandmother’s Funeral

Harry Styles recently opened up about a surprising and personal moment at his grandmother’s funeral. During an interview on Brittany Broski’s Royal Court show he revealed that he found himself laughing as the funeral was taking place. The singer explained that the laughter was triggered by hearing the Beatles song The Long and Winding Road at the crematorium which struck him as unexpectedly humorous in that solemn moment.

Styles shared that once the laughter began he started imagining other songs that would be even more out of place at a funeral. He jokingly called these “inappropriate cremation songs” mentioning tracks like Relight My Fire by Dan Hartman Disco Inferno by The Trammps and Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. Despite the unusual reaction Styles reflected on the moment with honesty and humor showing a side of himself that is both vulnerable and playful.

The story came up while he was promoting his upcoming album Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally set to release on March 6 2026. Styles also spoke about the excitement of his world tour which will include residencies and shows across the globe.
