Pramac Considers Rising Star Compared to Valentino Rossi for MotoGP Promotion

Pramac Racing is closely monitoring a young world champion whose talent and racing intelligence have drawn comparisons to MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi. The team sees the rider as a potential candidate for a future step into the premier class and believes his combination of speed adaptability and on track awareness could make him a strong addition to their MotoGP lineup.

The rider in focus is Spanish sensation Izan Guevara who has already achieved success in junior categories including a Moto3 world championship and impressive results in Moto2. Guevara recently secured his first victory at Valencia in Moto2 and took part in a MotoGP test aboard a Yamaha M1 as part of his relationship with Pramac. Team principal Gino Borsoi highlighted Guevara’s rapid learning curve and natural feel for the premier class machinery noting that he was able to adapt quickly and compete at a high level from his very first laps.

Beyond raw performance Pramac has praised Guevara’s character and enthusiasm for racing. His charisma and professionalism have drawn parallels to Valentino Rossi who became not only a champion but also a beloved figure in the paddock. Borsoi believes these qualities combined with Guevara’s dedication and work ethic position him as a rider who could make a smooth transition to MotoGP when the opportunity arises.
